A new poll shows residents from the Hunter Valley are more aware about climate change.
Thirty per cent of local residents are more concerned about the issue than they were a year ago thanks to bushfires, heatwaves and floods.
The survey, released by Farmers for Climate Action, also shows residents believe energy companies are responsible for high energy bills. Residents are supportive of clean energy.
